Gray Head Holidays

The holiday snow has been generous. Last week we recieved 2 plus feet of powder and as of yesterday the mountain had recieved another foot and a half. Terry and I have been cutting pine bows and having a decorating war. The cabin is in all its festive charm. Please let me know if there is anything special you would like to see on the blog, etc.

Looking forward to seeing many of you Gray Headers in the coming weeks.

Fall Colors and Snow

The fall colors have come and are now going furiously. The wind is a blowing with the leaves flying and snow falling on the mountains. Blues and Brews weekend was great- full of all kinds of weather-rain, snow, hail, sunshine, rainbows and Joe Cocker and Bonnie Raitt belting out tunes.
Carol doesn't miss a party Barnett-made a surprise visit and enjoyed the music and fun. The last wedding of the season is this weekend. Carol and Barney are hosting their annual fall color fiesta at the cabin and then it's quiet time at Gray Head until the snow really starts to fall! We will be back east for 10 days -and in the desert coming and going from the 6th of October until the 19th.

Fall is in the air with lots of rain and the first yellow in the aspen and crimson in the oaks popping up. We will post a little tid bit every few days to let you know how things are at Gray Head. Please let us know any particulars you would like us to blog about!
